Ju Luo橘络
Vascular Aurantii · Tangerine Pith Fibers · Tangerine Vascular Bundles
Overview
The web of white fibrous strands lifted from between the peel and the flesh of a tangerine, and the mildest member of the tangerine group. Sweet, bitter and neutral, it moves qi in the collaterals of the chest and transforms phlegm gently, which suits a lingering cough and a dull, wandering ache in the chest and flanks where a stronger herb would overshoot.

Cautions
A gentle herb with no notable restrictions — but its mildness is exactly the point: blood in the sputum needs a diagnosis, not a herb alone.
