Ren Dong Teng忍冬藤
Lonicerae Japonicae Caulis · Honeysuckle Stem · Japanese Honeysuckle Vine
Overview
The stem and vine of the honeysuckle whose flower is Jin Yin Hua. Sweet and cold, it clears heat and resolves toxicity as the flower does but less forcefully, and in exchange it does something the flower cannot: it travels the channels and collaterals. That makes it the choice when heat and damp settle in joints that are red, hot, swollen and painful.
